Seeking entry-level structural engineers for our floating systems and fitness for service practices. Our floating systems group deals with design and analysis of floating oil and gas production and drilling platforms in up to 10,000 feet of water and the risers and pipelines that service them. The fitness for service group is concerned with the evaluation and safe operation of equipment for pipelines, power plants, refineries, chemical plants, and manufacturing facilities.

General Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position would be a mechanical engineer with a varied career and an emphasis in manufacturing and fabrication of equipment and applications of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Stress Engineering Services, Inc. would train qualified candidates in advanced analytical techniques as needed.
•  15 to 25 years total experience as mechanical engineer.
•  5 to 10 years direct fabrication experience preferable.
•  Master of Sciences degree preferable.
•  Registered Professional Engineer preferred.
•  Must have the willingness and ability to travel overseas.
