Naval Architecture Engineer
Job Division / Location:
Floating Systems Practice, Houston, TX.
Description:  
Seeking entry-level naval architects/ocean engineers for our Floating Production Systems Practice. This portion of our business is concerned with design and analysis of floating oil and gas production and drilling platforms in up to 10,000-foot water depths including the pipelines and risers that serve them.
General Requirements:
Applicants must possess a minimum B.S. degree (M.S. or PhD preferred) in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering from an ABET accredited school. In addition, applicants must have a strong background in General Stability Theory, Solid Mechanics, and Fluid mechanics; Dynamics and Vibration background a plus.

Metallurgical Technician
Job Division / Location:
Houston, Texas
Description:  
Perform metallurgical evaluations in support of failure analysis and field inspection projects. Obtain, measure, and prepare samples for metallographic examination and testing. Exhibit knowledge of, or have interest in, photographic documentation. Follow staff metallurgical engineers’ test procedures. Agree to work occasionally on weekends, overtime, and travel as required. Work in less-than-optimum conditions during field-related projects. Demonstrate experience in metallurgical replication a plus.
General Requirements:
Three to five years in a metallurgical testing laboratory. An Associate Degree in a technical field, such as machine shop operations and/or non-destructive testing a plus. Demonstrate experience in metallurgical replication a plus. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. A high school diploma minimum.

General Requirements:
3-5 years refinery or chemical plant experience with a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited College or University. In plant experience and a thorough working knowledge of API – 510, 570, 571, 579, 580 and 653; ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes; ASME B31 Piping Codes.

Subsea Engineer
Job Division / Location:

Description:  
Candidate should be fully knowledgeable of subsea design practices and appropriate API design practices. Candidate should also have experience with design of subsea hardware such as subsea trees, manifolds, or control systems. Knowledge of subsea architecture and conceptual evaluations is helpful. Field installation experience is preferred. Installation engineering experience may include rig/DSV installation support of any type of subsea hardware.
