Dr. Ray R. Ayers Receives MMS Corporate Leadership Award

January 25, 2008 - Congratulations to Ray R. Ayers, Ph.D. of Stress Engineering Services who has been selected as a Spring 2008 Materials Management Service Corporate Leadership Award (CORLA) recipient. Dr. Ayers is being recognized for his exceptional achievements in assessing the lessons learned from Ivan, Katrina, and Rita, and planning for future storm events by developing improved standards and operating practices.

Dr. Ayers is a highly a respected Staff Consultant at Stress Engineering and is involved in a variety of design, analysis and testing projects including deepwater pipeline and riser technology development, synthetic mooring systems, and pipeline repair. He joined Stress Engineering in 1999 after retiring from an outstanding 31 year career at Shell Oil Company.

The Spring 2008 CORLA Awards will be presented at the annual MMS Industry Awards Program and Luncheon on April 10, 2008 at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston.
