Stress Engineering Services named to the 5th Annual AGGIE 100 Honoring the Fastest Growing Aggie Owned or Managed Companies Worldwide
COLLEGE STATION, TX. (Friday, Nov. 6, 2009) – Stress Engineering Services of Houston is among the top 100 companies named to the 5th Annual Aggie 100 honoring the fastest-growing companies in the world owned or operated by Texas A & M University former students. The Aggie 100 honors graduates from across disciplines and is a program of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A & M University’s Mays Business School.
Stress Engineering Services is an independent, employee-owned consulting engineering firm headquartered in Houston with offices in Cincinnati and New Orleans. Stress performs full-scale testing, mechanical design, product development, subsea engineering, project management and other engineering services for the oil and gas, offshore drilling and production and consumer products industries.
Stress Engineering’s president, Dr. Joe R. Fowler is a 1968 graduate of Texas A & M. Five of the company’s six vice-presidents are also Texas A & M graduates.
The 100 Aggie-owned or managed companies with the highest compound annual revenue growth from 2006 to 2008 were recognized at a formal luncheon at Texas A & M University on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.

Lester, Executive Director of the Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship.
