Stress Engineering Services opens new 37,000 square foot LEED building in Northwest Houston
HOUSTON, TX. (June 18, 2009) – Stress Engineering Services has opened their new 37,000 square foot LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) office building. This new addition to the Stress Engineering campus consists of a two-story office building with includes 95 offices and 6 conference rooms for the Upstream Oil & Gas and Stress Subsea divisions. The building also features a spacious 3,000 square foot conference center suited for large meetings, seminars, and training sessions.
The building was designed to facilitate our client’s engineering needs and also lessen the environmental impact of the building itself. Achieving a high level of comfort and productivity of the building occupants and doing so in an energy-efficient manner is a main priority of this project. Stress Engineering believes strongly in the idea of a sustainable place leading to a strong and positive working environment. The effort was to achieve balanced mixture of comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices, with an emphasis on Indoor Environmental Quality.
The new building is part of Stress Engineering’s Houston campus located in Northwest Houston. Stress Engineering also has offices in Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge.
