Joe R. Fowler Steps Down as Stress Engineering Services President; Jack E. Miller Named as Successor

HOUSTON, TX. (February 10, 2015) – Stress Engineering Services, Inc., announced today that Dr. Joe R. Fowler has stepped down from his role as President and has been replaced by former Executive Vice President Jack E. Miller.  Fowler will continue on as Vice President and work part-time beginning in March, 2015.

“I am very proud to leave the Presidency in great hands after 31 years as President,” states Fowler.  “Jack is very qualified and very experienced with over 38 years with Stress Engineering Services.”

Miller, a registered professional engineer, joined Stress Engineering in 1976.  He later went on to become EVP in 2012, 7 years after serving as VP.  With 34 patents, multiple publications, and 3 professional honors, Miller is experienced and knowledgeable allowing him to lead the company through the next phases of success.  He is committed to the principles of internal cooperation, customer service, and business growth which are defining characteristics of Stress Engineering Services.
