TEMPERATURE TESTING

  Request Info

As oil & gas exploration advances into deeper and harsher environments, we are well positioned to provide essential high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) testing of your equipment and components.

Stress Engineering has the ability to support unique and extreme temperature situations including fire exposure, controlled thermal cycling up to 1200?F, and freezing environmental conditions. Furthermore, we can perform tests that require the use of temperature in combination with other factors such as pressure, fatigue and load.

Cold Testing

Our Cold Testing facility is a highly insulated enviromental chamber capable of developing air temperatures from -103?F to 350?F. This chamber contains a 59? ID steel safety enclosure to accommodate samples up to 48? in diameter and is equipped with energy-absorbing bumpers and saddles to secure samples while under test.

Pressure Cycles: up to 1900 psi (133.6 kg/cm?)
with displacement of approximately 9 gallons at a rate of 2 per minute.

Pressure Capabilities:       50,000 psi (3516.4 kg/cm?) liquids
30,000 psi (2109.2 kg/cm?) gas
