Stress Engineering Voted The # 1 Best Company to Work for in Texas

AUSTIN, TX. (Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010) – Stress Engineering Services has been named the #1 Best Companies to Work for in Texas by the Texas Association of Business, the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and Best Companies Group. Stress Engineering is ranked first in medium-sized companies (75 to 249 employees) among the 85 companies that were selected in the annual survey.

This is the third year in a row that Stress Engineering has been listed as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. In addition to being an employee-owned company, Stress Engineering is recognized for their excellent benefits including 401K and profit sharing, flexible hours, company sponsored events, and participation in community and charitable programs.

The complete listing of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas is published in a special in the February 2010 issue of TEXAS MONTHLY magazine. Stress Engineering and the other ranked companies were recognized at a special gala awards luncheon held on January 28, 2010 in Austin, Texas.

The “Best Companies to Work for in Texas” survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Texas. Companies from across the state entered a two-part process that included an evaluation of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, followed by a survey to measure the employee experience.
