ABSTRACT
New techniques have been developed to test the increasingly common shrink-wrapped tray-based cases and unit loads. This type of secondary packaging is structurally very different from traditional corrugated cases with a corresponding need for new methods of testing and analysis. The characteristics of these cases will be discussed and new testing methods presented.
